Ulsav does not set refund policies on behalf of the Organizers. The Organizer is responsible for communicating its refund policy to the Attendees and for issuing refunds consistent with that policy. Consequently, Attendees should contact and direct refund requests to the Organizer, and in no case will such requests be directed to Ulsav.
Ulsav requests the Organizers to set their refund policies in a manner that is fair to the Attendees, and to communicate the same to the Attendees in a clear and transparent manner. Ulsav also requests the Attendees to read the refund policy of the Organizer carefully before purchasing a ticket or pass for an event.
If an Organizer is unable to or chooses not to issue refunds consistent with its refund policy, Ulsav will not be responsible for issuing refunds to Attendees on behalf of the Organizer, or for any failure to do so, and the Organizer and the Attendee agrees to hold Ulsav harmless from any claims arising from such refunds or lack thereof.
In case of any event cancellations or postponements, for whatever reason, the Organizer is responsible for communicating the same to the Attendees and for issuing refunds consistent with its refund policy.
If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, Ulsav will use reasonable endeavours to notify the Attendees of the cancellation once it has received the relevant authorisation from the Organizer. Ulsav do not guarantee that Attendees will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event.
In case a refund needs to be issued to the Attendees, the Organizer can either issue the refund directly to the Attendees, or request Ulsav to issue the refund to the Attendees on its behalf.
If the Organizer decides to issue the refund directly to the Attendees, then the Organizer shall be solely responsible for issuing refunds to the Attendees in a timely manner.
If the Organizer decides to request Ulsav to issue the refund to the Attendees on its behalf, then the Organizer shall be responsible to set the refund amount, and initiate the refund request to Ulsav. Based on the instructions of the Organizer as per its refund policy, and availability of funds in its account with the Organizer, Ulsav will issue refunds to the Attendees on behalf of the Organizer.
If an attendee has purchased a ticket or pass for an event at an incorrect price, or listed with incorrect information, or before it was officially on sale or available for purchase, or after it was off sale or no longer available for purchase, or listed for sale by error, then the Organizer have the right to cancel that ticket or pass (or the entire order associated with that purchase). If the Organizer cancels the ticket or pass in such a case, then Organizer is required to issue full refund to Attendees for that ticket or pass (or, if applicable, the entire order).
However, if the Organizer does not cancel the ticket or pass in such a case due, then the Organizer agrees to honor the ticket or pass for the price and event for which the ticket or pass was purchased.
Similarly, if an Attendee has purchased a ticket or pass for an amount that is higher than the intended price due to an error, then the Organizer may also decide to refund the difference to the Attendee and honor the ticket or pass.
This policy applies regardless of the nature of the error, and regardless of whether the error was from the side of Ulsav (such as a malfunction of its platform), or the Organizer. The Organizer agrees to hold Ulsav harmless from any claims arising from such errors, and to indemnify Ulsav for any losses it incurs as a result of such errors.
While Ulsav will make best efforts to issue refunds to the Attendees as soon as possible, Ulsav shall only be in a position to issue refunds to the Attendees either if it has sufficient unsettled balance in its account with the Organizer, or after it has received the funds from the Organizer. Ulsav shall not be responsible for any delays in issuing refunds to the Attendees due to insufficient balance in its account with the Organizer, or due to delays in receiving funds from the Organizer.
If the Organizer decides to refund to the Attendees directly, then the Organizer shall be solely responsible for issuing refunds to the Attendees in a timely manner.
While Ulsav supports sending instant refunds to the Attendees once issued and confirmed by the Organizer, the time taken to process refunds may vary depending on the payment method used by the Attendee to purchase the ticket or pass, any delays with our payment processors, bank processing times, etc. This should typically take a maximum of 7-10 business days. However, Ulsav shall not be responsible for any delays in issuing refunds to the Attendees due to any reasons beyond its control.
Service fees charged by Ulsav are non-refundable. If an Organizer cancels a ticket or pass, and issues a refund to an Attendee through Ulsav, then Ulsav will refund the amount excluding the service fees to the Attendee.
If an Organizer wants to refund the full amount including the service fees to the Attendee, then the Organizer can request to refund the full amount including the service, but in such a case, the Organizer will be responsible to pay the service fees to Ulsav.
All communications or disputes regarding refunds shall be between the Organizer and the Attendee, and Ulsav will not be responsible or liable for, and both the Organizer and the Attendee hereby agrees to fully indemnify Ulsav and its affiliates for, refunds, errors in issuing refunds, or lack of refunds in connection with the payment.
